The medicine of Kambo is applied to the skin in tiny spots with the purpose of entering the bloodstream. Normally, the effects are felt in a few minutes, and depending on each individual’s desired outcome, the medicine can be applied in various parts of the body. For example, the neck is an ideal spot to support the healing of the nervous system, and the ankles can be used to enhance womb and hormonal health. Generally, the ceremony can last anywhere from five to twenty minutes, with practitioners feeling soothed and refreshed afterward.  Kambo Medicine is an effective, conscious rite that allows for profound cleansing and connection to our bodies and the earth.
