Kambo
This medicine comes to us from an Amazonian frog, Phyllomedusa bicolor, and has been used for ages by some Indigenous tribes to enhance their skills and boost the immune system. The shamans would find the frog and gently pull its legs so that it releases the poison.
During this powerful ritual, the medicine is applied to the skin, allowing it to be quickly absorbed into the blood and lymphatic system.
The body then responds by flushing out the toxins. Many people use this medicine to treat various physical conditions more naturally.
It is advised to take Kambo in three sessions within one moon cycle to boost the immune system for a year.
There are several options for applying the medicine.
On the right shoulder for physical effect.
On the left shoulder for support with the release of emotions.
On the back of the neck for the nervous system and on the ankles for feminine sexual organs cleanse.
We usually start with three spots for women and four spots for men.
Before the ceremony, the participant fasts. The ritual starts with drinking a large amount of lukewarm water to make the purging easier. Then the medicine is applied, and the Shaman sings Ikaro, a medicine song that calls the medicine to clean the body. The whole ritual usually takes around an hour.
Bufo
About forty years ago, a potent medicine was discovered in the Mexican Sonora desert. A beautiful, gentle toad, Bufo Alvarius offers her secretion that contains what many call “the God molecule.” This secretion is dried and inhaled during a powerful healing ritual. Once inhaled, it opens the participant to a profound connection with the Source.
This medicine is used for spiritual healing. Most people experience deep feelings of oneness with all. Because of the intensity of such an experience, the participants are left with deep gratitude and Love. Bufo is often used for people suffering from trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, but also for those who are seeking the deeper meaning of their existence and reconnection with what we call God.
The whole ritual takes less than thirty minutes and is guided by the Shaman with sound healing and beautiful songs.
